This is a gorgeous picture of Monument Circle in Indianapolis in 1907.  Most of the circle today is very 70s and 80s architecture.  Certainly not in keeping with the style of the monument.  Still, even in the shadow of Chase Tower, the Soldiers and Sailors’ Monument is a sight not to be missed.
